Baked Apple Blossoms
Flaky, golden puff pastry wrapped around tender cinnamon-spiced apples...these Baked Apple Blossoms are as beautiful as they are delicious. Simple to make but impressive to serve, they’re perfect for a sweet snack, dessert, or even a brunch table centerpiece. Baking them in your BounceBox keeps everything neat and make serving and storage so easy!
Ingredients:
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 apple, thinly sliced
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1–2 tsp honey
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Optional: sugar for sprinkling
Instructions:
- Preheat oven according to puff pastry package directions.
- Thinly slice the apple and toss with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- In a small bowl, melt the butter and stir in cinnamon.
- Cut puff pastry into ½-inch strips.
- Spread the cinnamon-butter mixture over each pastry strip.
- Layer apple slices along one side of each strip, overlapping slightly.
- Fold the other side of the pastry up over the apples and roll tightly to form a rose/flower shape.
- Arrange the blossoms in your BounceBox.
- Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until puff pastry is golden brown.
- Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with extra cinnamon or sugar before serving.
